Yarden Bar'on Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2016

The 2013 Yarden Cabernet Sauvignon Bar'on Vineyard presents bright cherry and ripe plum fruit characters, layered with notes of cigar and chocolate, all balanced out with hints of herb. Pleasingly complex, this single-vineyard Cabernet is full-bodied and densely flavored. The wine is aged for 18 months in French oak barrels. Although pleasurable to drink upon release, the 2013 Yarden Cabernet Sauvignon Bar'on Vineyard will improve in the bottle in the coming years and should stay in excellent drinking condition for well over a decade from harvest. The wine pairs fabulously with grilled stead, a hearty lamb stew or herb-roasted eggplant with tomatoes and mushrooms.
