Shirah Geshem
Started in 2009 by brothers Gabriel & Shimon Weiss, with the goal of bringing a new dimension to the Kosher wine experience and a focus on the production of handcrafted Californian Rhone varietals and blends. By utilizing a minimalist winemaking approach — which puts the emphasis on quality fruit, meticulous viticultural practice, and terrior — we let our wines speak for themselves.
Showcasing Grenache's beautiful red fruit with Mourvedre and Syrah blended in for additional color, structure and complexity. A complex array of aromatics, starting with floral and garrigue notes, turning to plout, cherry and warm cinnamon. Medium bodied and medium acidity and lush, soft tannin. The palate shows notes of cherry, raspberry pie, baking spices, dried citrus peel, pink peppercorn, leather, pu-er tea and a hint of toast.
