Mahia is to Morocco as Tequila is to Mexico. Now, Master Distiller David Nahmias handcrafts small batches of Mahia in the Hudson Valley. At least 6 pounds of carefully selected, California figs are distilled into each 750 ml bottle. A sense of cultural history, much love and a touch of anise, bring this spirit to life.
