Makers Mark Wood Finishing Series RC6 2019

After the end of Prohibition the Samuels resume their distilling activities. In the mid 1950s, they start producing Maker’s Mark, the famous Bourbon with the signature red wax on the neck of the bottle. The distillery attributes its success to the 4 Ws, 4 elements essential to the production process: the pure water of the neighboring lake, wheat, the wood used for the casks and the red wax which makes the bottle easily recognizable.

The Maker’s Mark Wood Finishing Series 2019 Limited Release Bourbon was crafted to feature more pronounced fruit notes and a brighter finish while retaining the balance of baking spice and sweetness found in the original Maker’s Mark
