It was in 1983 that Carolus Nolet created Ketel One Vodka and launched it in the U.S. Derived from Distilleerketel (Dutch meaning "pot still") Number 1, Ketel One Vodka is probably one of the only vodkas in the world to be named after a key element in Nolet's production process. Each Ketel One bottle is designed in the style of an original Dutch-stone spirit bottle.
