The estate Bracha Blend from Har Bracha grows on Mount Gerizim in Samaria. It is 45% Merlot, 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 10% Petit Verdot. After ten months in French oak it is a supple, rounded red, rooted in ancient Biblical hills.
Mood: Warm, rounded, storied.
This blend leans generous, with soft tannins, dark berry fruit, and a gentle Mediterranean warmth that comes from the Samarian sun.
Tasting Notes
Vanilla, cedar and a hint of dried herb meet blackberry, black cherry and dark plum. It is medium- to full-bodied, with soft, plush tannins and a ripe-fruit core that is lightly sweet and lifted by fresh acidity. It is warmly spiced, with lingering dark fruit and a soft oak framing.
Food Pairing
Serve it with Shabbos roast chicken, meatballs in tomato sauce, cholent, lamb tagine and grilled sausages.
