The Glenlivet has been distilling in Speyside since 1824, and Founder's Reserve is its no-age-statement single malt, matured in traditional oak and first-fill American oak casks. It is the softest door into the distillery's range.
Mood: Orchard, creamy, gentle.

Tasting notes
Sweet orange and citrus peel on the nose, with creamy vanilla and a hint of honey behind it. The palate follows with zesty orange, pear and a touch of toffee apple. The finish is long, creamy and notably smooth.
Pairing
Neat or over one large cube; it has enough sweetness to take a drop of water without falling apart. Good with smoked fish, aged cheese, apple cake or simply on its own after a long week.
