Glenfarclas 1974 Single Malt Scotch Whiskey
Since 1865, Glenfarclas has been owned by just one family, the Grants, and is one of only a few distilleries in Scotland to be family owned and managed.
Intense, dark, and heavy. It's a sherry bomb, but anything but cloying or sweet. More on coffee here than chocolate. Spice, cloves, anise, leather (polished), burned fruit. FIGS. Raisins, prunes, and dried cherries.
