Garrison Brothers Texas Single Barrel Bourbon Whiskey

Dan Garrison -- an ex-marketing executive for a tech company -- founded Garrison Bros. in 2008, after being laid off by a former employer. Garrison put a few investors and family members together and started selling product contract from other distilleries. After a few years, they generated enough resources and market interest to officially launch a distillery in 2008, about 60 miles west of Austin in the tiny town of Hye, Texas.

Nicely balanced with sweet honeyed notes as well as some brooding clove beneath the surface.
