Farbrengen Dancing Light Concord (750ml)
Delivery across New York City: $5 in Crown Heights, $10 in Brooklyn, $20 in the rest of NYC. Free pickup at 511 Empire Blvd.
Farbrengen's Dancing Series Light Concord is a sweet New York State concord bottled for Royal Wine, with a dancing chassid on the label and a name that tells you exactly where it belongs. At 5% alcohol it is made for a long table and a longer niggun.
Mood: Sweet, light, joyful.
Sommelier's note
"Less a wine than a reason to stay at the table another hour."
Tasting notes
Pure concord on the nose - grape jam, fresh fig and a little sweet spice. The palate is sweet and light bodied, gentle in alcohol and completely without tannin. It finishes the way it starts, on clean sweet grape.
Pairing
Kiddush, havdalah, a farbrengen or any table where the singing matters more than the pairing. Cold, with honey cake, fruit or a handful of nuts.
