Engel Pinot Noir
Engel Family Vineyards began in 1995 when the Engels planted 2.25 acres of vines around their home. Though they were fortunate to have access to prime Napa terroir, the family did not come from a winemaking background. Fortunately they had a family friend who was: critically acclaimed winemaker Robert Foley. From this tiny vineyard, Foley produces just 200 cases of Cabernet Sauvignon (with 25% Merlot blended in) each vintage. Now almost 20 years in, the Engel Family is still producing one of Napa’s finest values.
An elegant and complex Cabernet Sauvignon, made from carefully-selected grapes grown in the Paso Robles region, California. The wine showcases flavors of raspberry and dark chocolate, structured with firm tannins, a bright acidity and a long lingering finish.Aged 14 months in French oak barrels.
