Tasting notes
Cassis, graphite and cedar come with a thread of dried herb. The wine is full-bodied and tightly woven, holding concentrated black fruit, fine-grained tannin, and a savory mineral core. It finishes long, dry and grippy, and is built to age for a decade more.
Food pairing
Serve it with standing rib roast, slow-braised short ribs, dry-aged steak, or aged hard cheese.
