1848 5th Generation White Blend
The fifth generation of the “Galina Shor” winery lineage was the first to transform the Israeli wine industry from the use of containers marketing to bottles distribution. This generation was gifted with managerial abilities alongside an initial comprehension of marketing and branding potential within the Israeli wine industry. The bottling line allowed for the primary branding of the winery and naming the various wines .
This wine is made of 70% Chardonnay 24% Chenin Blanc and 6% Semillon. The Chardonnay and Semillon grapes were harvested in the Lower Galilee area. The Chenin Blanc was harvested from mature vines in Kohav HaShahar at the Jerusalem Mountains, The wine has a golden green color with hints of pear, white peach, citrus, passion fruit, roasted nuts, papaya and oak. It has a full complex body and long fresh finish.
