Bunnahabhain Ceobanach Single Malt Scotch Whiskey
For the Ceobanach (pronounced 'kyaw-bin-och'), the Bunnahabhain distillers have taken inspiration from the days when the distillery used to produced heavily peated spirit. Meaning 'Smoky mist' in Scots Gaelic, Ceòbanach certainly packs a rich, smoky profile that classic Islay whisky fans will want to pay attention to. It was matured in ex-bourbon casks and bottled without chill-filtration.
Step back in time and smell the smoky mist of peat fires mixed with sea air. Aromas of smoke, tar and seaweed are balanced with malty sweetness, vanilla, orange and liquorice.
