Herzog S.V. Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon
The Oakville appellation lies in the central portion of the Napa Valley with the Mayacamas Mountains to the west and the Vaca Range to the east. Its graveled, well drained soils and cooling afternoon breezes create conditions perfect for the world class “Bordeaux style” varietals. Characteristically, they are rich and dense, boasting firm tannins unique to the appellation.
This Cabernet Sauvignon is full-bodied, rich and concentrated. Luscious aromas of black fruits and chocolate are followed by blackcurrant, cherries, and notes of spice and mint in the mouth. A hint of cedar and sweet vanilla from the oak round out the lasting finish. Cellar this special selection for up to 10 years.
