The Les Lauriers des Rothschild is comprised of 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc. Les Lauriers des Rothschild, hails from the St. Emillion, France appellation and is aged in French oak for 12 months. The wine has a wonderful purple color. it has a great earthy fruity aroma like cherries just picked from the ground and some raspberries. is bursting with fruit. This is a light-bodied, medium acid taste with more red fruit on the palate, with some notes of cedar. The super-smooth tannins create a reasonably long finish that sits on the top of the tongue.
